During the week of May 7th, students from the "Social Change Makers" group organized a Red Dress Project event to raise awarness of the many Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women in Canada. Organizer, Maggie Downer, said "We think the Red Dress is a visualization of the suffering of the women and their families." On Monday, Sarah Dunkly, a member of the Ontario Native Women's Association visited to share her work with the students and to present a small gift.
