All students entering grade 9 this fall are invited to this important event.
We want to welcome you to your new school and share some important information that will help you to settle quickly into high school. Please join us on Tuesday, August 27 from 11 am to 2 pm for the Grade 9 Orientation. You will receive your timetable, locker assignment, and locate all your classrooms. This is a great opportunity to meet your new classmates and get organized for your first week.
We are looking forward to meeting the CHSS Graduating Class of 2023!.

We will host our annual Open House and Barbeque on Thursday May 16 from 5-7 pm . We invite all members of the community, and especially future students, to join us for fun activities and events around the school where we will showcase our engaged students, passionate teachers and amazing learning opportunities. Here are some of the events that will be offered:

The HPEDSB Parent Involvement Council is hosting a series of evening events with guest speaker Leslie Ford. Leslie is a local child and youth worker certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and with 35 years of experience in child development. She works with families assisting children with high needs behaviour at home and school.
The presentation at CHSS will be May 22 from 6 - 8 pm.
